2010 Sturgis Trip

What is different about this trip to our past Sturgis trips is numerous.  For one, we are going to try and camp on some days on our way out.  As of our departure date, we don’t have any rooms in Rapid City, so we may just camp this year at the rally.  The prospects of just paying $15-20 a night to camp as oppose to about $200-$300/night in hotels sounds appealing.

This also means most of our posts will be short and via my iPhone as we may not be able to keep our batteries charged on our laptops.

We will see how this goes – we may camp, we may not – who knows……….  All I know is we have our gear if we want to.

We are taking our V-Strom as oppose to our Harleys – we thought that maybe we do some of the off road trails in the Black Hills.
